Uğur Koç, Berkant Gültekin, and Yaşar Gökdemir detained

BirGün newspaper web publishing coordinators Uğur Koç and Berkant Gültekin have been detained and taken to the Vatan Police Headquarters.

BirGün Publishing Coordinator İbrahim Varlı announced on social media that the newspaper's web coordinators had been detained.

Varlı stated the following on his social media account:

"Our newspaper BirGün's executives Uğur Koç and Berkant Gültekin have been detained. Our friends have been taken to the Vatan Police Headquarters. The reason is reporting on the Akın Gürlek visit by a reporter from the pro-government Sabah newspaper. Yet, Sabah and the pro-government reporter had announced the news themselves."
