Ahmet Akın has been elected as the 1st Deputy Speaker of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye Assembly.

The May Ordinary Assembly Meeting of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB) convened under the chairmanship of TBB President Zeydan Karalar.
The Deputy Speaker of the TBB Assembly was also elected during the meeting.
In the vote held, Balıkesir Mayor Ahmet Akın was elected as the 1st Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
