Ümit Özdağ recounts what he told AKP's Şahin on a plane: 'Her face turned deathly pale'

Özdağ described what he said to Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin when they encountered each other on a plane.

Stating that he told Şahin, "Ms. Fatma, when we come to power, we will do to you exactly what you have done to us," Özdağ said, "Her face turned deathly pale. I said, 'You know what you have done, and that is why you are afraid.'"

Stating that "Gaziantep is a very unfortunate city," Özdağ said, "On one hand, it has been groaning for years under the silent occupation of Syrian refugees, and on the other, it is being exploited right before its eyes." Sharing the conversation that took place when he met Fatma Şahin on a Turkish Airlines (THY) plane, Özdağ said, "Her face turned deathly pale, she could not respond."

One day, while heading to a plane in a THY bus, I said to Fatma Şahin, 'Ms. Fatma, when we come to power, we will do to you exactly what you have done to us.' Her face turned deathly pale. I continued, 'You know what you have done, and that is why you are afraid.' She did not respond.
