The teenager, who was rushed to the hospital, suffered a broken jaw, a split tongue, and four fractures in her spine. Lily's mother, Lyndsey Logan, stated that they need to pay the hospital approximately two million TL (45,000 pounds) for her daughter's expenses. Her family has launched an online fundraising campaign for Lily Nichol, who cannot be transferred elsewhere due to her spinal injury.

According to the report by the BBC and her mother's account, her daughter Lily was injured by a paragliding pilot who appeared from nowhere while she was eating pizza at a restaurant. Logan said, "Afterwards, my daughter was lying on the ground, unconscious. I started screaming for help; I thought she was dead." Although doctors initially suspected Lily had suffered a brain hemorrhage, it was later stated that she did not have a serious head injury.

HEAVY BILL FROM THE HOSPITAL: THEY DEMANDED 45 THOUSAND POUNDS

Since the family did not purchase travel insurance, they are forced to pay Lily's expenses to the hospital. So far, the young girl's father has paid 7,200 pounds for expenses, and they need to pay an additional 45,000 pounds for back and jaw surgeries. The family must pay a deposit for Lily Nichol, who is scheduled for surgery today, and they will have to pay all expenses before Lily can leave the hospital.
