Unbelievable incident in Istanbul: After catching the thief, he wrapped him in cling film and beat him

In Kasımpaşa, a youth caught a thief red-handed who was trying to steal his motorcycle for the second time. When the thief tried to escape, he wrapped him from his feet to his neck with cling film.

The incident occurred last Thursday afternoon in the Yahya Kahya neighborhood of Kasımpaşa, Beyoğlu. According to allegations, a minor individual had previously stolen a motorcycle belonging to 16-year-old Caner Bal in the neighborhood. The youth identified the thief from security cameras but could not catch him. After some time had passed, the same thief targeted another new motorcycle belonging to Caner Bal in the neighborhood.

WRAPPED THE THIEF IN CLING FILM

The thief was caught by Caner Bal just as he was about to steal the motorcycle. After catching the thief as he tried to flee, the youth wrapped him from his feet to his neck with the cling film he had on hand. He then struck the thief several times with the cling film box. The youth recorded the entire unbelievable incident with his mobile phone camera.

POLICE TOOK THE THIEF INTO CUSTODY

Following the incident, Caner Bal notified the police teams to hand over the thief who had stolen his motorcycle. Upon the report, police teams arrived at the scene, took the thief into custody, and brought him to the police station. The thief, whose statement was taken and judicial proceedings were completed at the station, was delivered to the youth shelter where he resides upon the prosecutor's instructions. No trace of Caner Bal's first stolen motorcycle has been found.
