Unbelievable incident in Mardin: 12-year-old girl hit by a stray bullet while sleeping on the roof of a house she was visiting
A 12-year-old girl, who had come as a guest from the Kızıltepe district of Mardin to the Karadal hamlet of Ulutaş neighborhood in Mazıdağı, was injured after being struck by a bullet while sleeping on the roof of the house in the morning. While the child's treatment continues at the hospital, an investigation into the incident has been launched.

In an incident that occurred in the Karadal hamlet of Ulutaş neighborhood in the Mazıdağı district of Mardin, a 12-year-old girl who was visiting with her family was struck by a bullet while sleeping on the roof of the house in the morning hours.
TRANSFERRED TO HOSPITAL
Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health teams and security forces were dispatched to the area. The injured child, who received initial treatment at Mazıdağı State Hospital, was later transferred to Mardin Training and Research Hospital for further examination and treatment.
GENDARMERIE LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION
The gendarmerie teams have launched an investigation into the incident to determine by whom and under what circumstances the bullet was fired.
