Unclaimed bodies recovered from mass graves in Damascus are being buried

In the Syrian capital of Damascus, bodies recovered from mass graves following the fall of the Assad regime were taken to hospital morgues for identification.

However, bodies that could not be identified and whose relatives could not be located were transported to cemeteries by White Helmets civil defense teams in pickup trucks.

Approximately 10 bodies in numbered body bags placed in the pickup trucks were buried by teams wearing protective clothing.
