University student found hanging from tennis court pole

M.H., a 20-year-old Syrian-born Turkish citizen and student of Computer and Informatics at Sakarya University, was found hanging from a tennis court pole on campus. M.H. was taken down by bystanders and transported to the hospital by an ambulance dispatched to the scene, while an investigation into the incident has been launched.

In Sakarya, a 20-year-old university student of Syrian descent and a Turkish citizen was found hanging from a tennis court pole on campus. 

M.H., a Syrian-born Turkish citizen and student of Computer and Informatics, was found hanging at the tennis court in front of the Engineering Faculty block on the Sakarya University campus.

Students in the vicinity who witnessed the horrific incident rescued the young man from where he was found and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Medical teams dispatched to the area transported the young man to the hospital following their initial intervention.

An investigation has been launched into the incident, which is suspected to be a suicide attempt.
