University student who wanted to join protests expelled from KYK dormitory

In a post shared by a person claiming to be Akşit's girlfriend, the statements used by Görkem Furkan Akşit that led to his expulsion from the dormitory are as follows:

"My boyfriend was unceremoniously kicked out of the Cemil Meriç Dormitory at Mustafa Kemal Atatürk University today because of this post he wrote. I would like to point out that he is the son of a fallen hero. We do not accept this treatment of the child of a police officer who gave his life for this country. There is a great injustice here.

'Hello friends, the agenda is clear, there are protests across the country, but I haven't seen any action taken by our school's students. Does anyone have any information? It bothers me to sit in my place while our friends in other cities are being hit with gas and bullets.

If there are those among us who want to take action, please convey this message of mine to our friends in other departments as well, let's not remain indifferent.'"
