Taking action upon the situation, the Samandağ District Governorate launched an investigation into the incident. As a result of the teams' efforts, the person who fired at the dog with a hunting rifle was taken into custody.
Regarding the incident, the Samandağ District Governorate stated, "As a result of the work carried out by our District Police Department teams regarding the incident of shooting and killing a dog with a weapon, the individual has been apprehended and a judicial investigation has been initiated."
