Up to 2 years in prison sought for 'Laz Kızı' over obscene broadcast

The investigation into the suspect Gül Hatun, who hosted live broadcasts with obscene content in exchange for money on her social media account, has been completed. A request for up to 2 years in prison has been filed against Gül Hatun, known as 'Laz Kızı', for the crime of 'obscenity'. The indictment stated that the obscene images were shared publicly on a platform accessible to everyone, including children.

In the indictment prepared by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that she made broadcasts under the username 'lazkızı34' on the social media platform 'TikTok' and included obscene content in these broadcasts. It was stated that Gül Hatun claimed to have earned 160 thousand liras during the broadcast, but closed her social media accounts after the incident became public and an investigation was launched.

The indictment, which also included Gül Hatun's defense, stated that the suspect hosted broadcasts on TikTok and transferred gifts received from her followers into her own account as cash. In her defense, she stated that she had been unemployed for a while, that she requested money from her followers in the images broadcast in January, and that she exposed her private parts to earn money. Gül Hatun stated that she earned 30 thousand liras from TikTok and did not know that her actions were a crime.

In the indictment prepared by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was assessed that the obscene images were shared publicly on a platform accessible to everyone, including children, and a prison sentence of 6 months to 2 years was requested for the suspect Gül Hatun for the crime of 'obscenity'.
