Urgent expropriation decisions for energy projects published in the Official Gazette

It has been decided to urgently expropriate certain immovable properties for various energy projects in Konya, Aksaray, and Kırklareli. Presidential decrees regarding the matter have been published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, for the purpose of constructing the "Salt Lake Natural Gas Storage Facilities Capacity Expansion Project," certain immovable properties located within the borders of Konya and Aksaray provinces, as well as properties needed for the construction of fixed facilities, access roads, power transmission lines, cathodic protection lines, and anode beds to be built within the scope of the project, will be urgently expropriated by the General Directorate of Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) through ownership or by establishing permanent/temporary easement rights.

In order to provide for the capacity increase of the Evrencik Wind Power Plant (WPP), it has been decided that certain immovable properties located in Kırklareli will be urgently expropriated by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) to be registered in the land registry in the name of the Treasury.
