US delegation arrives in Ankara: What is on the agenda?
A delegation from the United States (US) House of Representatives is arriving in Ankara today. The delegation, which will be received by Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, will also meet with the Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Defense Committee, Hulusi Akar. The main agenda of the meetings will be cooperation in the fight against terrorism and the F-16 procurement process.

The US House Armed Services Committee is arriving in Ankara today with four of its members.
The committee will meet with Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler.
According to information obtained from ministry sources, bilateral military and defense relations will be discussed during the US delegation's meeting with Güler.
In this context, topics such as the fight against terrorism, the support provided by the US to the PKK/YPG, and the F-16 procurement and modernization process will be addressed.

Güler will not be the delegation's only contact in Ankara. The delegation will also hold a meeting with the Chairman of the TBMM Defense Committee, Hulusi Akar.
