Biden's vote share, which was 48 percent in the July 3 poll, fell to 47 percent in the current poll.
According to 54 percent of the poll participants, Trump adopted a unifying stance following the assassination attempt against him.
In the event that Biden withdraws from the election, former President Trump is still seen as leading in a potential matchup against Vice President Kamala Harris, who is considered a potential Democratic candidate.
