US military: 'Senior ISIS figure killed in Syria'

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced in a statement that Usama Jamal Muhammad Ibrahim al-Janabi, a senior official of the terrorist organization ISIS, was killed as a result of an airstrike carried out in Syria on June 16.
The statement noted, "His death will disrupt the terrorist organization's ability to resource and conduct terror attacks." It was emphasized that no civilians were harmed in the airstrike.
It was stated that US forces will continue to conduct operations alongside their allies and partners in the region to weaken the operational strength of ISIS.
