Lawyer Serdar Öktem was subjected to an armed attack on Büyükdere Street in Şişli, Istanbul.
Öktem, who was rushed to a private hospital in critical condition following the attack, lost his life.
Meanwhile, the unidentified person or persons who carried out the attack fled in the vehicle they arrived in.
Continuing their investigation into the incident, police teams found the vehicle used in the attack abandoned in a wooded area in the İstiklal neighborhood of Arnavutköy.
One of the captured suspects was brought to the scene by the teams for a reconstruction of the event. Police, who have taken extensive security measures in the surrounding area, are continuing their examination of the vehicle.
