A verdict has been reached regarding Can Atalay, who was tried for 'violating the law on meetings and demonstrations' and 'making propaganda for a terrorist organization' due to his participation in protests and a speech he gave following the bomb attack carried out by the terrorist organization ISIS at the Ankara Train Station on October 10.
According to the report by Barış Terkoğlu from Cumhuriyet, while the case continued for other defendants who participated in the demonstration, the file for Atalay, who was elected as a member of parliament, had been separated. In the hearing held today, the Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court issued an acquittal for Atalay on both separate charges.
