The struggle for rights by families of fallen privates and veterans in Ankara continues on its 42nd day.

Veterans reacted to the remarks made yesterday by TBMM National Defense Commission Chairman Hulusi Akar in Kayseri, where, while defending the new law, he referred to their sit-in protest by saying, "Unfortunately, some continue to exploit and provoke our martyr and veteran families in pursuit of personal and political gain. However, everyone should know that these are a very small minority."

"IT IS AN HONOR FOR US"

According to the report by Müyesser Yıldız from 12punto, Platform Spokesperson Erdem Çerçioğlu stated that they were previously labeled as "marginal" and now as a "minority," and reacted to Akar's words.

Çerçioğlu said, "It is an honor for us to be considered marginal and a minority by those who call a baby killer 'esteemed'."
