Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz casts his vote

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz arrived at Hacılar Middle School in Gölbaşı. After casting his vote at ballot box number 1146, Yılmaz stated in a press briefing that he had fulfilled his civic duty.

Inviting all citizens to the polls, Yılmaz spoke as follows:

"When we compare ourselves with other democracies, our participation rates are high. We take pride in this. This also shows our nation's trust and belief in the ballot box. On the other hand, it is of course important that it takes place in peace and security. It is important that this process is completed with democratic maturity. We sincerely believe that this will be realized.

I hope it will be an election where participation is high, completed in peace and security, and beneficial for our country and our democracy. This is what we wish for. Once again, we invite all our citizens to the polls to fulfill their civic duties. May our elections be auspicious."
