In his post, Yılmaz stated the following:
"I congratulate Mr. Mustafa Çiftçi, who has been appointed as Minister of Interior, and Mr. Akın Gürlek, who has been appointed as Minister of Justice, with the approval of our President, and I wish them great success in these honorable duties they have undertaken in the service of our nation.
