Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz made important statements during a live broadcast he attended.

Making a statement regarding inflation, Yılmaz noted the following:

"Last year in September, we introduced a medium-term program. We presented a 3-year program. Three periods were taken as a basis. One is a transition period, two is a disinflation period, and three is a stability period.

We believe that we have left the transition period behind after May. We expect to see declines in annual inflation starting from June.

Therefore, with June, we will have entered the disinflation period. We will see this accelerate even further in July and August.

When we reach September, we will see that today's figure has declined significantly. We believe that we will leave the disinflation period behind after May. After that, the price stability period will come."
