Vice President Yılmaz: Opposition targeting economic stability is doomed to lose

The wounds of the greatest earthquake disaster in our history are being healed rapidly.

We are resolutely implementing our economic program for the lasting prosperity of our people.

Our agenda is to raise our standards further in foreign policy, democracy, and development.

Social peace, prosperity, and national unity are the shared responsibility of the political institution.

The opposition, which is indispensable to democracy, should be conducted on legitimate grounds with constructive suggestions and criticisms.

An opposition that targets social peace and economic stability with calls for street protests and boycotts is doomed to lose.

A style of politics that is lawless and based on divisive, threatening, and polarizing rhetoric will find its response before history and in the conscience of our nation."
