Congratulations and a new step proposal for the CHP from Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ: 'Coming to the side of the Turkish nation'

Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ evaluated the CHP's decision regarding İmralı in a post on his social media account. While stating that he found the CHP's decision not to go to İmralı positive, Özdağ also made a suggestion regarding the steps that should be taken next.

Özdağ used the following expressions in his post:

Abdullah Öcalan, the ringleader of the PKK terrorist organization, stated in a statement he made some time ago that the Öcalan commission in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey should come to visit him in İmralı, and threatened that if they did not come, things would turn into hell.

A short time ago, Nationalist Movement Party Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made a statement announcing that if the commission decided not to go, he would go to visit Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı with three of his friends.

Upon this, we see that the commission gathered and decided to go. 

However, let us record it as a pleasing development that the Republican People's Party announced that it would not go to visit the terrorist called Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı, despite having taken a wrong step by being in the commission.

For this reason, I sincerely congratulate the CHP management, especially the Republican People's Party Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel, on behalf of the Victory Party. 

However, I think that the next step that needs to be taken will also be taken by the CHP Chairman and his colleagues, and that step is to no longer sit on this commission.
