Abdurrahman Uzun, a prominent AKP social media troll, did not refrain from saying about Karaca's dilapidated and unplastered house, "Yes, in this country, martyrs have always come from adobe houses, from unplastered houses. God has granted those homes a rank of honor like martyrdom."

Yes, perhaps these houses have no plaster, their walls are made of adobe. But there is bravery, religion, and faith inside these homes. That is why God grants martyrdom to men from such homes. God does not grant martyrdom to those expensive homes where the halal and haram are not distinguished," he said.
