“I brought some symbols belonging to the Turkish Yoruk culture. Some family photos and the flight patches of my first squadron. These are the items I brought.

In the interview conducted in English, Gezeravcı was asked which personal items he brought with him.
In the interview, where he emphasized that the reason that enabled him to come here was the Turkish flag, Gezeravcı said the following:
"I brought some symbols belonging to the Turkish Yoruk culture. Some family photos and the flight patches of my first squadron. These are the items I brought.
And my Flag, which enabled me to come here."
