Attacked cashier with kicks and punches: Assailant apprehended
In Istanbul's Bayrampaşa district, an individual identified as E.T. shopping at a chain supermarket kicked and then punched a cashier, B.Ü., following an argument over passage. The assailant, who fled after the incident captured on security cameras, was apprehended by police shortly thereafter.

The incident occurred on Thursday, May 2, at a chain supermarket located in the Muratpaşa neighborhood of Istanbul's Bayrampaşa district. The individual identified as E.T., who was shopping, allegedly did not give way to the supermarket employee, B.Ü., who was trying to pass by the checkout counter.
The verbal argument between the two escalated quickly. Instead of calming down, E.T. became increasingly aggressive and suddenly began attacking the cashier.
KICKED AND PUNCHED, KNOCKED TO THE GROUND
As the argument intensified, E.T. first kicked the supermarket employee, B.Ü., and then attacked with punches. The cashier collapsed to the ground from the impact of the blows.
ASSAILANT APPREHENDED SHORTLY AFTER
Taking action following the incident, police teams examined security camera footage and identified the suspect, E.T. The suspect was apprehended on May 3 and taken to the police station.
