Attack on a 7-year-old child in Tuzla! Ministry to intervene in the case

Security camera footage captured the moment the young child was thrown to the ground, and the attacker has been arrested. In the Tuzla district of Istanbul, a 7-year-old child playing in the parking lot of a shopping center was attacked by an individual. While it was learned that the young child, who was taken to the hospital, is not in life-threatening condition, the moments when the individual threw the young child to the ground were captured on security cameras.

The incident occurred on October 6, 2024, at approximately 18:00. 7-year-old B.E.A., who was playing in the parking lot of a shopping center in the Şifa neighborhood of Tuzla district, was attacked by an individual.

The individual attacked 7-year-old B.E.A. and threw him to the ground. The person who carried out the attack was identified as 19-year-old A.K. It was learned that the suspect, A.K., carried out this attack because he was bothered by the noise the children were making. Following the incident, A.K., whose identity was determined, was apprehended on October 8, 2024, referred to the courthouse on charges of "intentional injury," and was arrested and sent to a penal institution on October 9, 2024.

MINISTRY TO INTERVENE IN THE CASE

It was stated that the Ministry of Family and Social Services will provide psychological support to the 7-year-old child who was attacked while playing in front of a parking lot in Istanbul and his family, and that they will intervene in the case regarding the attack.

In the statement made from the Ministry's social media account, the phrase, "We would like to inform the public that, as the Ministry, we will intervene in the legal process and provide psychosocial support to our child and his family" was used.
