An avalanche occurred at approximately 11:30 AM in the Yusufun Deresi area of Erzurum's Palandöken Ski Center, which is closed to skiers. It is alleged that 4 foreign national skiers who entered the area triggered the avalanche. While the skiers escaped the incident unharmed, gendarmerie and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene. There were no injuries or loss of life. As a security precaution, teams are continuing to conduct a sweep of the area just in case.
