A traffic dispute over right-of-way in Ankara turned into an axe attack. Angered by a honk, a father and son attacked a driver's vehicle with an axe and shattered the windows. The father and son, who were taken into custody, were found to have extensive criminal records.

The spiral of anger and violence escalating in Turkey every day has manifested itself this time in a grave incident in Ankara. A traffic dispute over right-of-way in the capital turned into an attack with an axe.
According to the information obtained, a driver identified as A.Y., who was driving in the Keçiören district, honked his horn to warn V.K., who had committed a lane violation. However, this routine warning drove V.K. into a rage. Following A.Y. for a while, V.K. cut him off with his vehicle. V.K., who got out of the car with his son T.K., began to attack A.Y.'s car with an axe. As the vehicle's windows were ruthlessly smashed, the events turned into a terrifying memory in a matter of seconds.
Security forces identified the father and son through security cameras and apprehended them in Sincan, taking them into custody. During the interrogations, it was revealed that the attacker V.K. had 6 different criminal records, while his son T.K. had a criminal history involving 3 separate files.
