Social media influencer Banu Parlak was detained by police yesterday on the grounds that she had shared posts featuring firearms.
Parlak, in whose home one unlicensed handgun was found during a search, was detained as part of an investigation conducted by the Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and was referred to the Büyükçekmece Courthouse in the morning hours following processing.
After giving her statement there, Parlak was released by the criminal judgeship of peace under judicial control. Upon exiting the courthouse, Parlak got into her car and ran away from the journalists.
