'I BOUGHT A GUN FROM SOMEONE I DIDN'T KNOW'
It was learned that Banu Parlak, who was detained last night on the grounds that she made an armed post on social media platforms, said in her statement, "My beauty center in the Başakşehir district was shot at twice. For this reason, I decided to obtain a gun to ensure my safety. Since the licensing process took a long time, I bought the gun from someone I didn't know over the internet for 120 thousand liras," she reportedly said.
'IT WAS A VIDEO I SHOT AS A JOKE'
Explaining that she put the pistol in the drawer at her workplace, Parlak reportedly stated, "Later, I took this pistol to my home. I did not carry this gun on me; I kept it in my home. The gun seen in the video belonged to a male customer who came to my workplace. It was a video I shot 1.5 years ago for my social media account as a joke. The gun is not real, that's why I took it and shot the video. After the recent events, they are circulating it as if I had just posted it to put me in a difficult situation," she said.
Following her statement, Parlak was released by the Criminal Judgeship of Peace under judicial control conditions.
Getting into her car after leaving the courthouse, Parlak ran away from the journalists.
