It has been learned that Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar and Adıyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere, who were taken into custody, have been referred to the courthouse following a health check.

The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations of corruption and bribery targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) had extended to Adana and Adıyaman.
The operation in question began following the accusations of Aziz İhsan Aktaş, who was alleged to be the leader of a criminal organization and cited as the basis for the Beşiktaş Municipality investigation, within the scope of an investigation launched against the criminal organization in Istanbul in recent months.
Within the scope of the investigation, 13 people, including Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar and Adıyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere, were taken into custody.
Karalar, Tutdere, and those accompanying them, who have been held in custody since Saturday, were referred to the hospital for a health check.
The 13 individuals were brought to the courthouse following their health checks.
Karalar and Tutdere were seen for the first time in days.
