POLICE TRACKED DOWN THE SELLER
Following the complaint, teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Auto Theft Bureau launched an investigation. Security camera footage from the area where the vehicle was stolen was obtained. The footage of the incident, which took place in the evening hours, was not clear due to the long distance. Upon this, police conducting street-level investigations found a significant lead after 3 months of work. The investigation determined that the person who stole the vehicle was Kerem İ., who had sold the vehicle.
STOLE IT WITH A SPARE KEY
Following the investigation, the suspect Kerem İ. was taken into custody. 3 firearms were seized at the location where the detained suspect was found. According to the information obtained, it was revealed that the suspect stole the vehicle with a spare key after selling it. The 24-year-old suspect Kerem İ., who has 6 different criminal records, was arrested and sent to prison.
