Car driver resisted, traffic police drew weapon

According to footage reflected on social media, a driver traveling on a highway in Istanbul was stopped by traffic police.
During this time, an argument broke out between the traffic police and the driver.
In order to stop the individual who fled from the traffic police and subsequently resisted them, 3 shots were fired into the air.
DROVE HIS VEHICLE TOWARD THE POLICE
The incident occurred on February 10 at approximately 13:35. Traffic police teams monitoring traffic density at the North Kavacık junction wanted to stop an individual driving dangerously; the driver, C.K., did not comply with the warnings and fled by driving his vehicle toward the police officers on duty.
During the pursuit, the same individual hit another vehicle driven by E.Ş. at the northern exit of the FSM Bridge and continued to flee.
Following the pursuit by traffic police, the vehicle driven by the individual named C.K. was stopped at the entrance of Büyükdere Street. The driver, who did not comply with the warnings and displayed aggressive behavior toward the traffic police, was warned by police officer R.Ö., who fired 3 shots into the air, and the individual was subsequently neutralized by the police.
While the driver was being taken into custody, two women who were in the vehicle fled on foot, taking their suitcases with them.
The driver, who tested at 1.57 promille alcohol during the alcohol check, was fined. While the vehicle was towed to the Mavisu impound lot, the driver, C.K., was taken to the Kuştepe Police Station for the necessary judicial proceedings to be carried out.
