Terkoğlu alleged that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office attributes its failure to obtain the expected results from the IMM investigation to certain structures within the state and has reported this situation to the 'highest authority'.

Regarding the reaction shown by Akın Gürlek, Terkoğlu used the following expressions:

"The prosecutor's office claims that there is a structure ranging from MASAK to the courthouse, and from the police to the ministries, that acts in coordination with İmamoğlu, hollows out the İmamoğlu investigation, or obstructs it, and they are investigating this. There is such an allegation!

Chief Prosecutor Gürlek refers to the state officials who leak this information to İmamoğlu as 'traitorous moles' and has reported these names to the highest authority.

The place a chief prosecutor refers to as the highest authority is the Presidency! The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has filed a complaint against the ministries involved in the matter.

It is also said that Akın Gürlek stated regarding the ongoing process that "whoever leaked information from within the state to the outside will be held accountable."
