Construction vehicle and car collide in Tekirdağ: 5 dead
A car rear-ended a moving construction vehicle in Tekirdağ and burst into flames. 5 people lost their lives in the accident.

In an accident that occurred at night at the entrance of Ulaş Neighborhood on the Edirne road in the Ergene district of Tekirdağ, a car with license plate 59 FV 888, driven by Cenk Varnalı, rear-ended a construction vehicle driven by Ö.A.
The car caught fire due to the impact. Passengers Kadir Güler, Emre Ağır, Serhat Tunus, and Deniz Yalnız, along with the driver Cenk Varnalı, lost their lives in the car.
Upon notification by witnesses, gendarmerie, medical, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area. With the intervention of the fire brigade, the fire in the car, which had turned into a fireball, was extinguished.
The bodies of the 5 people who died in the accident were taken to the Çorlu State Hospital morgue.
The gendarmerie detained the construction vehicle driver, Ö.A., and launched an investigation into the accident.
