Kırkgöz, one of Antalya's most valuable water resources, is located within the Termessos water protection basin.
At the same time, this area had been specially enclosed with wire fencing to protect the surrounding natural life. These measures, taken to protect it from picnickers and pollutants, aimed to contribute to the preservation of the water source.
However, construction work recently carried out by dump trucks has begun to threaten this protected area.
