New details have emerged regarding the criminal organization dismantled within the scope of the Cage (Kafes) operations held in Istanbul. Footage of the gang's attempted attack on a nightclub in Beyoğlu has surfaced. The hitman, whose gun jammed, was beaten.

Operation Cage was carried out simultaneously in Istanbul and Izmir against an organized crime group led by Özgür Saral, coordinated by the Istanbul Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security's Department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM), and executed by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Organized Crime Branch. 24 people were detained in the operation.
FOOTAGE OF THE INCIDENT EMERGES
Within the scope of this investigation, it was also alleged that the gang attempted to take over an entertainment venue in Beyoğlu 2 years ago. The suspects, who wanted to forcibly take over the venue operated by Sezai G., had attempted an armed attack. Security camera footage of that incident has emerged. In the footage, it is seen that the gun of the person trying to fire jammed. The hitman was beaten after this action was noticed.
A multi-faceted investigation into the incident is ongoing.
