Earthquake survivors hit by heavy downpour this time
The Turkish Medical Association (TTB) shared a video on its X social media account showing that many containers were flooded due to the rain that has been continuing for 2 days in Adıyaman, and that earthquake survivors were trying to empty the water with buckets in their hands.

The TTB used the following expressions in its post:
“Due to the rainfall in Adıyaman yesterday and today, many containers have been flooded, and earthquake survivors have once again been left to heal their own wounds by themselves.
Despite 9.5 months having passed since the earthquake, organizational inadequacies in temporary settlement areas continue.
We call on the public authority to rapidly take measures against risks such as flooding, fire, and epidemics in temporary settlement areas; we remind them of their responsibility to build safe and healthy structures.”
