Ekrem İmamoğlu responds to mosque provocation: 'Not to show off like others'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu performed Friday prayers at a mosque in Sancaktepe. There, an individual asked İmamoğlu, "Why did you come to the mosque?" İmamoğlu replied, "I am coming to pray."
To the question, "Where have you been until now? Why do you only come to mosques and Friday prayers from election to election?" İmamoğlu responded with the words, "I am coming to pray to the Creator. Not to show off like others."
Other members of the mosque congregation also reacted to the citizen.
