Families of the fallen react to Minister Memişoğlu
The bodies of the personnel who lost their lives in the forest fire between Eskişehir and Afyonkarahisar have been transferred to Ankara for identification and DNA testing. Their relatives, complaining about the lack of information, reacted to Minister Memişoğlu, asking: Is he here, is he dead, or is he still alive?

The bodies of the forest workers and AKUT members who lost their lives while responding to a fire in the forested area between the Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir and the village of Sarıcaova in the İhsaniye district of Afyonkarahisar have been taken from Afyonkarahisar State Hospital to the Ankara Group Presidency of the Council of Forensic Medicine for identification and DNA analysis.
A relative of one of the individuals who was on duty during the fire and from whom no news could be received expressed their reaction following the statements made by Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, saying, "Is he here, is he dead, or is he still alive, where is he? Someone help us, no one is saying anything."
An AFAD official present at the scene tried to calm the citizen during the relatives' reaction.
