In Şişli, a woman was targeted for abduction by her ex-husband and two other individuals who attempted to force her into a car. The woman, who screamed for help, was shot and killed while trying to escape. It was reported that the 3 attackers have been apprehended.
According to the information received, the incident took place in the morning hours on Kazım Orbay Street in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood. 34-year-old Bahar Aksu was forcibly targeted for abduction by her ex-husband and two others as she arrived at the hotel where she worked as an assistant cook. Aksu, who was being forced into the vehicle, began screaming for help. The young woman, who put up resistance, was shot and killed.
Bahar Aksu’s body was brought to the Forensic Medicine Institute in Bahçelievler. Police teams have taken 3 individuals into custody regarding the incident. Meanwhile, the moment the attackers were waiting for Aksu on the side of the road was captured on camera.
A woman who described the terrifying moments said, 'We came out because of the screams and the noise. She was crying out. She resisted and freed herself from the car, but as she turned toward the sidewalk, they fired. She collapsed to the ground. They fired repeatedly. Unfortunately, we were just bystanders. It happened in an instant. This place is quiet. There is usually no noise or commotion. We saw it from the house.'
Efforts to capture the ex-husband who killed Aksu and his accomplices were launched immediately. The suspects were caught during a police check at the city exits of Silivri. The Silivri District Police Department teams apprehended the suspects along with the vehicle they used in the incident at the district exit.
