Fulya Öztürk's remarks on the border line draw backlash! 'This woman is not a reporter, she's a showman!'

CNN Türk Special News Chief Fulya Öztürk, who went to the zero point of the border, sparked reactions on social media with her live broadcast comment: The team we were just talking to has headed out into the field.

While the martyrdom of 21 soldiers in the last 20 days has plunged Turkey into mourning, the remarks made by CNN Türk Special News Chief Fulya Öztürk, who went to the border line, drew a flood of reactions on social media.

Öztürk reported on the events from a point near Hakurk at the zero point of the border.

"We are at a point close to Hakurk. We are at a point close to the Claw-Lock. We are at a point where it is even difficult to speak," said Fulya Öztürk, adding, "Conditions in the region are very difficult. The Turkish Armed Forces and gendarmerie commandos continue their watch. At such a point, the Turkish Armed Forces and gendarmerie commandos are putting up a struggle. Conditions become even more difficult at night. The blizzard is intensifying."

Citizens reacted to Öztürk providing location information when she said, "The team we were just talking to has headed out into the field" during the live broadcast.

Öztürk responded to the backlash against her on social media with the following words:

"I have been going to military zones and filming for years; until now, I have heard nothing but satisfaction from the soldiers and commanders... What are you after, for heaven's sake? What disclosure? Saying 'a team has headed out into the field' is not a disclosure. The commanders here smiled at these messages of yours. Relax... You don't even know what constitutes or will constitute a 'disclosure,' and you are giving me advice? I have spent years in these regions."
