Groom going to collect bride first sprayed with fire extinguisher, then had paint poured over his head

In Bursa, a groom-to-be was met with a fire extinguisher and paint by relatives from the bride’s side at the house where he had gone to collect the bride. The bride’s relatives filled the air with powder and smoke, making the groom deeply regret coming, and those moments were caught on camera.

In Demirtaş Neighborhood in the central Osmangazi district, there was no end to what happened to the groom who came to the bride’s door to get married. Paint prepared by relatives from the bride’s side was poured over the groom’s head when he arrived at the door. The bride’s side then sprayed the groom with a fire extinguisher, filling the air with powder.

As the groom’s helpless state was captured on camera, some citizens could not make sense of what had happened.
