A fight broke out in Istanbul's Sultanbeyli district due to a verbal altercation. During the fight, the parties drew guns on each other, and 2 people were injured.
The argument escalated into a fight after acquaintances of both sides became involved. Among those involved in the fight, S.E. was injured by a knife and M.A. was injured by a firearm. A car was also damaged as a result of gunfire during the brawl. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
Medical teams transported the injured to the hospital after providing initial intervention.
Police teams, who broke up the fight, took the 12 suspects involved in the incident to the police station to take their statements. It was learned that S.E., one of those involved in the incident, has a criminal record of 22 offenses.
The suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse. A.O., S.E., M.A., and S.D. were arrested, while the other suspects were released.
