Teams from the Istanbul Public Security Branch Office's Wanted Persons Bureau conducted operations between December 22 and December 31 regarding wanted individuals and convicts. 3,634 people were apprehended and referred to judicial authorities. It was learned that one of those caught was Serkan C., who had managed to evade capture for 19 years and had a finalized prison sentence of 109 years and 3 months. The suspects were referred to the prosecutor's office.

Istanbul Police Department Public Security Branch Office's Wanted Persons Bureau teams conducted operations between December 22 and December 31, 2023, to apprehend and refer to judicial authorities individuals wanted with finalized prison sentences and those with arrest warrants for various crimes.
A total of 3,634 people were apprehended, including 995 individuals wanted for prison sentences and 2,639 individuals wanted for testimony. The suspects were referred to prosecutors.

It was learned that among the individuals caught, Serkan C. had a finalized prison sentence of 109 years and 3 months for the crime of armed robbery at night in Kadıköy in 2005.
