Heated debate at AKP provincial congress
A dispute broke out at the AKP Kırşehir Provincial Congress after the congress board refused to accept a second list and candidate.

At the AKP's 8th Ordinary Congress held at the Neşet Ertaş Culture and Arts Center, the application for a second list submitted to the congress board by lawyer Emre Eren was rejected by the board, leading Eren's family to suffer a nervous breakdown and protest the congress.
The decision by Mehmet Uğur Gökgöz, who served as the Congress Board Chair, to reject the list of provincial chairmanship candidate Eren and instead call the team of the incumbent Provincial Chair Seher Ünsal to the stage caused tense moments in the hall. The tense moments were also captured by cameras.
