In the accident that occurred in Hatay, 6 people lost their lives, while 8 others were injured. On the Hatay-Antakya-Reyhanlı road, in the Üzümdalı area, a passenger shuttle collided with a parked semi-truck.
Hatay Governor Mustafa Masatlı made a statement regarding the accident, saying the following:
'Our teams are working in detail regarding the accident. It is a sad event. I wish God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives in the accident and a speedy recovery to our injured. We have 6 deaths. We have 8 injured, one of whom is in critical condition.'
According to initial findings, 6 people died and 8 were injured in the accident. Numerous ambulances and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. While police teams ensured the flow of traffic continued in the area, the lane where the accident occurred was closed to traffic.
Heavy traffic was observed in the Üzümdağı area of the Reyhanlı road.
