Criticizing education policy, Celal Şengör said, "Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin has filled the curriculum with religious courses up to high school. He is weeding out evolution, he is weeding out physics. We cannot explain this."

"IT WON'T TAKE 1.5 YEARS"

Interjecting during Şengör's speech, Ortaylı said, "You don't need to explain it anyway; it won't take 1.5 years, someone else will come after the election. I am sure of this, even if this party is re-elected.

Because the advantage of this party is this: They say let's offer the opportunity to serve to other friends as well, it's that clear."

"WE WANT OUR CHILDREN TO ACQUIRE MANY VALUES"

Minister of National Education Tekin most recently spoke at a school opening ceremony and stated that the physical infrastructure in education has been completed, and that they are now focusing on the content of the curriculum and the quality of education.

Stating that they have reduced the density of information that burdens students by simplifying the curriculum in an era where accessing information is now easier, Tekin said the following:

"We have simplified our curriculum by 35%. Instead of providing education with an excessive information load, we are now adopting an educational approach that transforms information into skills. We want our children to acquire many values, from patriotism to compassion."
