Interior Minister Yerlikaya speaks on the terrorist attack against TUSAŞ

Interior Minister provided the following information regarding the terrorist attack:

Two terrorists, one female and one male, have been neutralized. Unfortunately, we have 5 martyrs and 22 wounded.

We wish God's mercy upon our martyrs.

Identification efforts are ongoing. We will share information regarding which terrorist organization they belong to. I would like to convey my best wishes to our pride and joy, TUSAŞ.

Based on the details that have emerged so far, we have thoughts that the attack may have been carried out by the PKK, but it is not yet confirmed.

We have been constantly updating our President on the process. We are determined to cut off their breath with perseverance and resolve.

Our unity, solidarity, and the strength of our nation will always prevail. Have no doubt about that.

EVACUATIONS CARRIED OUT FROM THE SCHOOL LOCATED WITHIN TUSAŞ FACILITIES

Students in schools located within the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facilities were evacuated under the escort of security forces and teachers.

Following the terrorist attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facilities in Ankara, students studying in schools located within the complex were evacuated. The students were safely delivered to their families via numerous shuttle buses. Security forces, classroom teachers, and class representatives accompanied the evacuation of the students. Some families could not hold back their tears during the evacuation.
